Accessibility Statement
We want everyone in our community to be able to use this website, whatever their abilities or the technology they use.
Last updated October 2026
NDOP Community DMV is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including members of our community who use assistive technology.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper headings, landmarks and lists
- A skip-to-content link for keyboard users
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element
- Full keyboard operation of navigation, menus, accordions and forms
- Form labels tied to their inputs, with errors announced to screen readers
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology
- Colour contrast chosen to remain legible at standard sizes
- Reduced-motion support — animations are disabled when your system requests it
- Responsive layouts that work from small phones to large displays, and support browser zoom
Standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task, and we continue to test and improve.
Known limitations
Some content on this site is still being developed, and imagery is currently placeholder material pending authentic community photography. If you encounter a page that is difficult to use, please tell us — reports from real users are the most useful information we receive.
Tell us about a problem
If you have difficulty accessing any part of this website, contact info@ndopdmv.com and describe the page and the problem. We will respond and, where we can, provide the information you need in another format.
